Nice golf courses. TERRIBLE accommodations. Maybe we got the bottom of the barrel because we purchased the group golfer but the room we had was so bad we had to leave after 1 night and we were not refunded the 2nd night despite paying extra for it. We would have been better off sleeping on the ground in one of the fairways instead of the plywood mattresses. The walls were paper thin so we had the pleasure of listening to the neighbors TV until 1AM. There was a coffee maker in the room but no coffee. Play the golf but find somewhere else to sleep.

Excellent customer service. Very clean and cozy room. Great for the price. We stayed in the winter. The location is conveniently located within an hour drive from several ski resorts. Will definitely stay here again.

Fabulous views of Torch Lake! Great place to grab a sandwich, drink, and some sun while taking in the panoramic view from their deck. We visit quite often during the season to grab a cocktail, burger, relax, and enjoy the view. I enjoy the spicy Torch Burger and Spicey chicken wrap, while the wife likes the bacon cheeseburger and the ultimate grilled cheese. I also enjoy playing a round on the original Torch course, which is a scenic wooded course. The Sundance course is more of an open links course with a fair amount of uphill and bunker play. The Torch is more my style. Stop in and check it out. You won't be disappointed.

One of the worst courses (Torch) I have ever played. They clearly don't care or have the money to take care of this course. Paid $65 to play, played The Wolverine (Grand Traverse Resort) yesterday for $69 and it was 100 times nicer, better condition, better service, no starter trailer.

Restaurant..... it s very old and I think their food at McDonald s taste better than this food! The young college girl that took our order and made our food was very crabbyand very rude! The place was empty and she seem to be in a big hurry rushing us even though this was our first time there!
We wanted to take a minute to read the menu, figure out what we wanted. She didn t want to wait!!! We kept telling her we re all together in one order but after our both of our boys told her what they wanted, she started ringing it up! Our son said three or four times, wait a minute my parents didn t order yet! then she never gave us a chance to order drink!!
She hurry up, cooked our food, gave it to us and never said a word! even though we smiled at her and said thank you!!!
Then she finished in the kitchen and quickly went to sit down by which look like her boyfriend or a young college guy. Apparently we must ve interrupted those two sitting there at a table that s why she was so crabby she had to get up and take her order and make our food!!
We all at stomachs afterwards! Don t eat there! Drive into Elk Rapids and you will have much better places to eat at!!!!!

Torch course was overpriced and conditions were mediocre at best. Some greens were in rough shape especially for late august and most tee boxes were trashed. Hole 3 was under water and converted to par 3 and hole 10 was a par 3 due to a wedding preparation and there was no discount... doesn t make sense.

A great place for a golf get-away! The two-courses on site are totally different from each other - "The Torch" is typical northern Michigan golf, lots of elevation changes, tons of trees, and just spectacular views on a few holes. "Sundance" is more "links" style - a little more wide open with a ton of bunkers and punishing rough, but a fantastic layout! Only their new addition of "The Dells" (an older course 10 minutes from the main resort) is a bit meh. Okay established course, but not on the level of the other two. Accommodations are nice, if a bit spartan, made as a place to rest between rounds, and not much else. Clubhouse staff are great! I am looking forward to visiting again in the future!

With the exception of a few holes on each course, they were average golf courses. Friday we went, we saw cart girl 1 time on 16th hole. Played 36 on Saturday, saw a cart girl 2 times. Sunday 1 time on 2nd hole. It was 90+ degrees each day. Condos and dining were nice. After paying for a package, they wanted to charge us for range balls to warm up. For the money we payed, could have played somewhere nicer and more accommodating.

What a gorgeous course. Well maintained. Lots of sand and heather on nearly every hole. Water comes into play on several holes as well. Have played this course in the summer and fall. Quite beautiful both seasons.

Fairways are relatively generous, greens are large. Even though the course beats me up it remains my favorite.

Torch course is beat up. Lots of tee boxes and greens that look like this. Par 5 on the front is under repair, turned into a par 3. I guess for the money it s not the worst value out there but there are so many better kept and more interesting courses. We were a 3 some and first group out @ sunrise and when we made the turn they had sent a group or two out in front of us which held up our back 9. Lots of cart traffic driving by while we were teeing off, some stopped and waited some didn t. Not the best experience. Wouldn t come back.

These condo's are nice. Make sure you get one facing Torch Lake. Keep in mind if you want peace and quiet - go somewhere else. Why? Because you get men's golf outings, and in the evening they party loud and hard. There is no management or security to call to quiet them down..so basically I hope you like Led Zepplin at 2am.

We have an annual 40-player outing that rotates through the top resorts in northern Michigan, so we get to play a lot of upscale courses and stay in a variety of accommodations. After just completing our 30th outing and the third at A-Ga-Ming, I have to say that everything was PERFECT! The price was reasonable, the courses were in great shape, the condos were clean and comfortable, and the steak dinner they grilled for us was the best we've ever had. Additionally, if you haven't played A-Ga-Ming's Sundance course, you're missing out on one the TOP 5 courses in northern Michigan . It is absolutely perfect and there's not even one thing that could be changed to make it better! Thank you to owners Mike and Larry, and especially Group Sales Mgr. Lauren, for a wonderful northern Michigan golf experience!!!

Went on a golf trip with a couple buddies and stayed at the resort. Very nice room and even had a view of Torch Lake. We played Sundance and Torch. Sundance is must play. Beautifully manicured and some scenic views. Torch was not as nice but still fun to play. Torch has much tighter tee shots.

Great range, short game practice area and putting greens. Staff was friendly and fresh hot breakfast was available early before our tee time. We will be back.

I went August 2015 with a 32 person golf weekend. We were greeted warmly by one of the owners who made us feel welcome.

We stayed in the Cedar Hollow lodging which are on the fairway of the Sundance course. They were beautiful inside and out. They had excellent decks overlooking the course. They also had a nice back yard which was perfect for playing bags. They had nice large couches to congregate and a perfect kitchen/bar area for guys to play board games and cards.

The golf courses were in great shape. The Sundance was our favorite and had excellent conditioning. The Torch features 3 holes of great views of Torch Lake. Antrim Dells (20 minutes away) was a nice surprise with it's firm and fast conditions favoring bump and run play.

I have done "stay and play" packages at these resorts: Boyne, Treetops, Lakewood Shores, Otsego Club, Garland and others. A Ga Ming was the most welcoming and had the best customer service of all of those resorts.

Food was good and the bar had a very good selection of craft beer.

Stayed August 2015, traveled with friends

Condo we stayed in was very old. Paper thin walls. Could hear all.of our neighbors conversation's and t v until 1 am. Very noisy in the morning. Booked a room with a king size bed when arrived we were given a room with two double beds. Complained and nothing was done. Very dissapointing.Played Atrim Dells course. Very difficult. Also played the torch. Beautiful and fun course. Would come back to golf but would not recommend staying here. Will book a hotel in acme. Was not a great deal at all.

Decent accommodations on a beautiful setting. Courses were in good shape although pace of play was very slow with no players assistants to been found. Beverage cart was reportedly on the course but we never saw it. Clubhouse seems confused about tee times and was "squeezing in" lots of unscheduled groups which did not help the pace of play. Beware if you are looking for a peaceful place to spend the evening in your room. The multi unit buildings were full of large outing groups that partied and played loud music well into the wee hours. The reported on-site security seemed to be missing to enforce quiet hours.
