Love going here in the summer, the girls in the snack shack are very rude.

Awesome place to see movies. 3 screens to choose from with at least 2 movies on each screen. The price for the movies is great. You basically are paying the admission of 1 movie at a regular indoor theater, but here you see at least 2 for that price in the comfort of your own vehicle!!

Amazing experience. Make sure you wear something warm if you plan to sit outside.

Great deal for movies! Buy one ticket, watch 2 films! Unfortunately, they do sell out of movies though. So you should attempt to get there very early before your desired movie

Its a great place to watch a movie no one to disturb your movie watching experience. Great popcorn and great in the summer.

There were no speakers so no sounds after our car got low on battery.

Movie was good, but our car battery died at the end of the movie, so we called them over for a boost. They only have1 booster pack which wasn't functional, and no cables. They told us to call a tow truck! For that business you'd think they would prepare for that to happen! Wasn't impressed

Nice place but snacks were stale need a way to keep things fresh popcorn tasted like its been sitting all day and reused from previous night....Otherwise great price for two movies

Washroom is sketchy, food is sketchy but the exerience is amazing!! I don't consider it summer unless I have visited at least once to enjoy the ambiance of good old fashioned fun and brand new cinematic views

I watched a 9:15pm movie. Unless you plan the movie night by waiting 1~2 hours prior too the movie you may be good. But if your like me and decide to go 30 mins prior to the show starting... its basically like watching an illegal downloaded spy cam version you can download online but putting in the effort of driving there and donating more money for them "$14/adult all the way back spots"

Drive-in theatre with an old fashioned feel. Concession is expensive but a good variety of foods.

It was a different sort if experience. Definetely something to do on a warm summer night. You get to watch 2 movies for one ticket, which is a sweet deal. The food there wasn't amazing. A pretty good experience considering the cost.

I love this place. I drive from Pickering to oakville to watch movies at 5drive in. Employees are beyond nice. Screens are big and parking space is huge. It is recommended to go early because all the good spots get take n very quickly and it gets packed. The food is pretty good I personally love the fries, hamburgers and fresh popcorns. My boyfriend loves the ICEE slushy drink that they sell. On busy days they will open both concession stands and even have a mini bike store that comes around the each section to sell food. Two bathroom stalls are located on the property. The best nights to go are Tueadays were go pay $8 per person for 2 movies and Thursday where you only pay $20 for everyone on your car to watch 2 movies. if u had 4 people in your car on Thursday that wid only be $5 per person. They also have parks set up where you kids can play before the movies. They recently added a volleyball section. I love this place.

Great place washrooms have issues though maybe they need more..

We were in line for so long only to be told right before the ticket booth that the screen was sold out. -_-

Extremely rude staff at the cashier. Don't even know how to treat custoner. They behave as if we are there to movie for free

I love this drive Inn, the food here is great too and for a good price, I feel sorry for whom ever has to clean the bathrooms, people are so disgusting

Love the 5 drive in, it's not quite what it used to be but it's still the best place to relax and see a movie. If it's a movie with dark scenes and a lot of special effects then maybe wait and go to VIP but otherwise come here.

Great alternative to sitting at home and watching Netflix. Tickets are difficult to secure, literally sells out in hours if you want a weekend time slot. I think there needs to be more explanation of rules so that people know what to expect. These people are getting paid minimal wage to work and don't need customers yelling at them because they are doing their jobs.

We read reviews and gathered the following information:
1) Arrive early if you want a good spot
2) You can only park between the designated poles to ensure 2 metres between cars. Just because your car fits doesn't mean it's a spot. The theatre staff should really add some pylons to areas that frequently get mistaken for a spot, after the movie has started to save them the hassle. We saw 5 cars backing out of the spot in front of us all night.
3) Can't walk around and must stay in your vehicle except for the washroom or to throw out garbage. Some people stretched their legs and then went right back into the car.
4) There's an official 5 minutes intermission between the two movies but it's probably about 10 minutes, if you leave your parking spot, someone else can take it.

Washrooms could use some cleaning, no one was cleaning between anyone and at one point 5 people were in the washroom so not sure what the rules were. Someone was watching the washrooms to let you know when to go in.

Concession stand is closed so bring your own food and drinks.

Fun experience but needs to improve we arravied 45 min be for showing time, fast ticket buying process and organized we parked and waited for the movie. While the web said it starts at 9:30 it started late more than 20min while the other screen for different movie worked on 9:30 exacetly(Spiderman movie). When6the film started voice was too low and cars were a load to enter till 25 min before movie ending. Cars were while the people were try to watch and already put their chairs.
Noise from the roads were too load at some moment nice to try. I wouldn't recommend if you really want to watch the movie only for kids.

It was fun but theres entirely too many people walking around durring the movie. I had at least 3 groups of teenagers stop in front of my car and have a conversation. Also people have their lights on in their vehicles

Went for the second time here. The first time i thought we chose a wrong movie with too many night scenes. But now we saw another movie and the same problem. The screens are very dull and faint. There is hardly any brightness and contrast.

Was there last week and so not impressed! First of all they have young guys working there that are suppose to tell you where to park but don't. They wait till 20 minutes before the movie starts to tell all the SUVs they have to move all the way in the last 2 rows, meanwhile there are no cars in the parking lot! 90% of the population drive SUVs. Why would i come to the drive in to have to park so far back we can barely see anything.
Secondly...the washrooms are disgusting, i don't think they have ever been clean.

Good old fashion drive in theatre experience. Was very enjoyable with friends! Covid -19 rules were enforced when we were there and we complied. Note that you will have to purchase tickets online for now.

Excellent place for a movie night under the stars!!!

On June 16, 2020, I was devastated with my experience with the staff at this location. The staff showed nothing but attitude. They didn t communicate with us in a proper manner and respect by coming to the spot we were at and started shouting. Threatened us to call the police on us when were not even doing anything wrong. They made us move spots multiple times, it was very inconvenient. I paid to come here and enjoy the time not experience incidents like this. It ruined our time and our night when we could have been enjoying our experience at this place. I would like to demand a refund as we ended up not enjoying our time and the staff asked us to leave. We pay to enjoy our times here not be threatened by untrained staff. A very disappointing moments.

I really enjoy the cinema, everything is great except something that really bother me and my kids, people is allowed to smoke and that is very unfair for the ones are next to, special for little kids that are so close. Maybe you can have a specific area for smoking, or maybe just do not allow. It is very uncomfortable for non smoking people. Please take action!

Great place for a drive in. Take bug repellent if you plan on sitting outside.

Love this place. Always have a great time. So glad we have a drive in close to the city. The Only Downfall, is there is no staff to clean the bathrooms. Really need to spend a little more time in this area.

My favourite spot on a summer night... can be enjoyed with company or even alone!! One evening my car battery died so I called the main phone number and spoke to someone who sent out an attendant. In 20 mins I was watching the movie again! Great place highly recommend... buy tickets online days ahead.

Great local venu with friendly staff and a wide selection of refreshments. I recommend paying the 5 Drive-in a visit if you're looking for a drive-in movie theater in Oakville.

I love going to the drive in. They occasionally make questionable decisions, like showing the family movie at the earlier time slot, followed by the children's movie... It would make much more sense to show the little kid movie first, because they'll probably fall asleep after that and then the rest of the family can watch the 2nd feature. Other than a few minor things like that, the Number 5 is great. We go several times per summer, and would go more if they turned their movies over more frequently.

A great drive in that I keep coming back too. The snack bar is a little pricey but of course that is to be expected. I normally go on Thursday when we can get the car load special and see a movie on the big screen for just a bit cheaper. I am from Toronto but have no issues with driving out to Oakville to catch a movie every once in a while.

Always had a great time! Main screen is by far the best. Recommend going early for opening nights- line up can get pretty big.

This is an amazing place! You can bring your dog with you, there is a playground for children, and an all round good vibe. The prices are also very reasonable

Nice date night. Bathroom by screen 2 out of service and had to use other (long walk long line). Wear pants as bugs that bite after 11pm.

It is a nice place to meet and eat while watching a movie. Not costly and not crowded. Very large screen. There are no seating arrangements. You have to watch the movie in a large screen sitting in your car, van or the Jeep. You must have your radio working since the sounds comes through a FM channels of your radio. Better to find how would be the weather before you go to avoid a disaster. Food is cheap and good.

It is a great idea to spend a warm summer night with your family at this place.

Wonderful place to take the grandkids to screen a film like we did in the golden days. There is plenty of parking and space; the food concession are great, and restrooms OK. My wife and I have been taking our kids here for years and now we take there kids. Thank you for keeping the tradition alive.

Sound was awful super distorted could barely understand what anyone was saying ruined what should have been a great movie

Customer Service is Horrible. I got tickets for the wrong day and Spoke to a lady named Jenette. I understand the no return policy, but Jenette was miserable. All she had to do was say it nice on the phone. When I explained to her what happened she said "clearly you didnt read the bottom of the ticket". Very rude for no reason. Please start hiring staff with more customer service experience because your manager "Jennete" has issues.

This is one of my most favorite places during the summer. Always offering the best movies, you get country feeljng as it is away from any buildings. You can enjoy the movie with your love one with the trunk open, bring your pillows and a blanket for the best comfortable experience while being under stars or just bring chairs.
The food is not the greatest(the popcorn is good), the service is alright, the washrooms are far. They have 3 big screens to enjoy in 3 big lots! Just arrive an hour earlier or an hour and a half earlier to get the best spots before the movie starts as this can get pretty crowded closer to when the movie starts.

Perfect place to go during the summer with a group of friends. Bunch of good movies and lots of space.

Unique experience!

A real-deal, old-school movie drive-in, with three screens showing double features of current releases. Projection is decent and the sound - through your car's FM radio - is crystal clear. There's food and snacks available from the diner-style building in screen 1, all of which is reasonably priced. Be prepared for long lines for both concessions and the box office - get there well ahead of time if you don't want to miss the start of the movie. Wish the staff were a little more vigilant - and signage was more prominent - telling people to shut off their lights during the features; this is the drive-in equivalent of someone texting in a movie theatre, and it's super annoying. Other than that, a great night out.

Nice place, good food, good movies, great atmosphere

Very quiet and friendly atmosphere. They play latest movies. Wish they had more movie choices. Snack bar is amazing with variety of choices at reasonable prices.

Not enough washrooms, really dirty. I wouldn't order food there, really dirty, under staffed, they are rude. Only good thing was their movie screen was pretty decent but won't be going back

The food stand and washrooms are pretty dirty, and staff don't seem to be on the ball in terms of telling drivers to turn off their lights when they turn them on for a long time. The movie quality and sound were great!

Great place to take the family. If the kids doze off you simply drive home. No fuss and excellent value. Love it

We have been coming to the drive-in for over 20 years. It is definitely nice to be able to watch a movie outside. The food is not great, the place is Pretty Dirty. Has personality though. Unfortunately it is run by teenagers. I was really not impressed with the reopening, really figured they would be a little more organized and had more detailed regulations. You can't use your chairs, as it states not to leave the vehicle. However, you can leave to go smoke or throw your garbage out? You can sit in the bed of your pickup, but not behind your car even though it is 2 metres apart from any other car. Strange rules, but parents, be prepared to sit in the back of your car or only bring two people only and sit in the front. All and all it's not a bad place, just hope you don't have an issue and have to deal with any of their personnel.

This is the Last Great Drive-In in all GTA & They truly have newest releases and real family fun!! :)

I've been coming here for years.
A few upgrades to the concessions and washrooms would be great though.
Also, they would have a VIP or frequently attending customer's point cards. I feel that frequent customers should get a discount like Cineplex Cinema does.

Aside from that, I love this place. Always recommending it.
