Good place to have fun. Sucks that u can't smoke in the main section of the casino.

Was a blast ,Considering it's the only real place Around the Area of the Reservation, and its #1 in All it Services, Food Was out of this world Awesome, rooms were great in every aspect. Friendly staff an Well enjoyed time spent .Happy Holidays

The firework show they put on every year is well worth the drive!

Freeplay is hard to come for the average player. They only cater to the oil rich big spenders.

Terrible food! All old and dried up. Very overpriced for dried up food. Luckily they had veggies. Machines are too tight. Staff is not friendly. Seemed dirty.

Great place to make a quick getaway to for my husband and I. We have been here many times and it has been nice. The rooms all vary but other than that we like it.

The place is in a distant area way off the main interstate on an indian reservation but it's not too bad after all the driving I did. The hotel is kind of bigger than the gaming area and it seemed was made in purpose to accommodate for more people and for other then the gaming purpose which is boating I believe since the hotel is just by the lake which is a destination for many who want to be next to the water. The casino has a very humble buffet and dining area which does not justify the reason of being that small with so little choices to eat.
Some of their slot machines are outdated and have dim screens however they do have number of the newer noisy ones that occupy a relatively small area and I would imagine the place should be packed on weekends.
We stopped there to check the place out, of course we didn't make a jackpot, and you should not expect too much if you were around bigger casinos with more amenities. It's a good get away place if you live in the area or around it and size wise is acceptable for the city and population.

After our 2 day stay we will not use the 4 Bears lodging services on our next trip. When we first entered the room we checked into there was a horrible sewage stench coming from the bathroom. We called the front desk and were switched to another room. We had to reload the car and drive over to another door. When we got to the new door we couldn t even get in. The keys didn t work to get us into the building or the room. It took a good 15 minutes for someone to walk down and let us in after calling the front desk again. It was not what we wanted to be doing after a 7 hour drive. The hotel area was outdated and appeared nicer online.

The weather was in the upper 70 s so we wanted to use the indoor pool rather than paying to freeze at the water park outside. The indoor pool was closed the 2 days that we were there. They said they were waiting on a filter replacement. The kids were getting bored since we were unable to swim. I called at about 12:45 asking if we were able to just check out because we no longer wanted to spend the 2nd night there after all the issues. We were told that since it was after noon we wouldn t be refunded for the 1 of 2 nights that we paid for when we checked in. I understand that there are policies but 4 bears had not mentioned the pool being broke down or not having WiFi in all of the rooms. Since we were still being charged we just stayed rather than going to Medora or somewhere better.

We went to the water park which was actually pretty fun. Luckily the water was warm since it was cold out. However, one of the water slides wasn t open. All in all, the water park was the only good experience we had with 4 bears.

We checked out on Wednesday and were about 50 miles away when we received a phone call from 4 bears saying that our card had been declined and payment was not received. We had paid right when we checked in and the money had already been debited. I told the woman on the phone this. She said she d take another look, realized I was right and then apologized . It wouldn t have been a huge deal had we not had anything but problems our entire stay. Goodbye forever 4 bears, we will never be returning.

Rooms aren't very tidy. If you drink when you gamble you still pay full price for drinks at a steep cost.

machines were extremely tight, the smoking area is small and filthy. the staff was not friendly or warm feeling

The food is on point. The atmosphere is awesome for the area. Very much an unexpected little jewel in a place were fine dining is hard to come by. It's up there in pricing, but we were celebrating our Anniversary so it was not a big deal. The steaks were served on a 'blooming onion' which just added to the taste of the steak and grilled vegetables.

This place is the absolute bottom of the barrel.. Stayed for free, won money and still would not wish this experience in my worst enemy..

I understand when gambling you are taking a chance to lose money but these machines are very tight. It would be nice to play for at least 30 minutes before losing all your money..My opinion is the machines are too tight because they are trying to pay for the huge new facilities they are building. Odds are definitely against you at this casino.

Went to a concert, which was great and well done. My experience was really good, but i do wish the drinks were free with playing.

Visited 4 Bears about 12 times in 6 months. Loved the food at the grill....and won more than we lost. Everyone was welcoming and professional

Love everything except that I was hoping to stop by the buffet and it was closed. I live out of state and don't get to visit often. It was my fault for not checking the hours, but it was still disappointing.

Nice clean place great food. Gift shop was a little pricey

This place has gone down hill the last few years. You used to be able to go in and and least play for a few hours on $200-$300. Now your in and out 30-45 min. Will no longer be going. Can have more fun playing slots or tables at the bars then here.

The food establishments menus could use some reworking... its like fried food. everywhere.

It would be nice if there was fountain machines to get soda. I didn't see drinks anywhere. At least soda machines, I'd buy my own. Machines were tight even at max bet.

The room was great and the staff was very pollite. Because we were there to take in a concert too, there was a lot of people checking in at the same time. Also, our room wasn't ready until 5 pm and the doors opened at 6 pm to the show. The breakfast buffet could of been better. I would stay there again but not eat there.

Have been there multiple times and never won anything. Also they charge for alcohol and a lot. Not good for gambling

It was a clean smoke free environment unless you chose to go in the smoking room. I really liked the large selection of games in the smoke free area.

it gets two stars because there weren't any other RV parks in the area. I'd definitely plan to bypass it next time. There was trash everywhere -- everything from chicken bones to debris from fireworks. We were there in late August. I', assuming that the fireworks trash was left over from Independence Day celebrations about six or seven weeks earlier. Finally, the pay tables on the video poker machines were some of the worst I've ever seen.

Good casino, a little on the small side, great band, and great staff! Skip the buffet not worth the dollars... Hotel room was nice but had an odd experience. Will visit again but likely stay at different hotel.

Fun place its a ritual to go every year on my birthday.

Awful just bad holes in the furniture lamp shades had holes bathroom door again holes light flickered shower you needed a confined space permit remote control the batteries were held in place with tape and this was in there junior suite room almost 200.00 a night

Stayed for 4 nights in May 2018 and enjoyed my stay. Great games in the casino, good room with comfortable beds, friendly staff, also locals and other guests were very friendly. This place is kind of out of the way but I assume that s North Dakota. Not too big on playing the machines but glad to see the same stuff you find in Vegas at this location. Wanted to play some live poker but a game never developed, they did have nightly tournaments, Omaha, Tahoe split and Texas.
I disliked the buffet, it wasn t good, just to put it bluntly. Should have been offered for half the price. The little cafe outside the buffet was actually better and they should put more emphasis on advertising what it had to offer and probably dress it up a lot more. The room noise is a bit of an issue, stayed on first floor and at times could here running/hard walking from floor above. Other than that I was pleasantly surprised with my stay.
Originally planned 3 night stay for a conference but family wanted to relax another night so we did. Overall I liked my experience and really don t get the negative comments since this place was so pleasant. I m sure the negative might come from some disgruntled gamblers or someone who just doesn t like seeing Native Americans with casinos. The casino is basic so don t expect a spa but it is more than welcoming and please don t believe in the ultra negative reviews. I will stay hear again if I am ever in the area again.

Went there for our anniversary therefore anniversary and had a blast I thought they were reasonably priced for what you got the view in the back of the lake is absolutely gorgeous this staff is amazing the maintenance is right on it when you need them is it a five-star hotel know and super super slow checking in but other than that definitely and anniversary to remember
