Decadence, Delectable & Divine describe 2AM:Dessert Bar perfectly. Enjoy the evening with your date or friends while indulging in sinfully sweet treats and sipping delicious wines. It's a perfect place to unwind and tantalise your tastes, senses and desires with the various choice of desserts and wines.

Great place to chill. I do not have a sweet tooth but the desserts all looked very good. I had the tiramisu and it wasn't too sweet. The popcorn chicken was more my thing hahaha

Tried the other desserts on my friends' plates and they all were nice. Stuff on the menu were not cheap but you get nice ambience and a nice place to chill.

Parking is not too bad, had to enter the car park to Holland V via Holland Drive but parking in a weekday night was fine. The bar is very near the car park, so if you walk to much, you're probably walking in the wrong direction (like i did). The bar is upstairs and you need to walk through a glass door in the corner of the building, not conspicuous.

Chef Janice helps serve her food and also checks in with her guests too.

Very cozy dessert placed that was opened by an award winning dessert chef Janice. They sell very specially crafted desserts and pair them with hand-picked wines. You can have just the dessert, that's fine. But to get a more immersive experience, you could just trust the chefs there to send you on a tour of your taste buds. The waiters also explain what each dish is made of, what you can expect, and how you should proceed with eating first. Very detail oriented and definitely worth pointing out.

Ambience is very fine dining / romantic and err more on the upscale end, but can definitely be used to hold corporate events or gatherings. Will be relatively pricey even though it may just be desserts.

Ordered three (all!) of the signature desserts and they didn't disappoint. The beauty of these desserts were that the flavours are really well balanced, never too sweet nor too tart, and of course, they looked like works of art!

Been here for the 2nd time, still find the desserts amazing and tasty!! It's quite pricey as dessert, but it worths. We ordered both Chocolate H2O and Cacao Forest, I loved both of them.. will definitely visit again the next time when we visit Singapore.

Reason for 3 star is that I didn't like the other 2 desserts that much.. we ordered Tiramisu and cacao... Tiramisu didn't taste authentic and Cacao was not a good combination...

For anyone with a sweet tooth, this place is a must try. It can be a little hard to find, but it's well worth the effort. Situated on the second floor above about this place specialises inamazing and unique deserts. The menu has a great variety of sweet treats and it's well worth pairing these with a fortified wine or coffee. I will be returning again soon!

Waited so long to visit this place and was bitterly disappointed. The Cassis plum which featured in Master chef is so overrated. Never have I tasted a dessert which cost so much and failed to impress. There's no balance of flavours. It's just sour through and through. Even the ambiance was a disappointment. The chairs are too tall and uncomfortable. Choose any other place and pay the same price, I guarantee you'll not be this disappointed. Overall a perfect summation of 2020. Sour and disappointing.

Come here with an open mind about their dessert. The individual components taste amazing by themselves, but im sure they're not meant to be mixed together. Very novel experience but it didnt make me want to come back again.

It was fairly crowded for a Fri night but was lucky enough to get seats at the bar counter. Staff was still friendly despite full seating capacity. Desserts were really worth the wait. Will come back again.

Truly amazing dessert experience presented by Singapore's famous dessert artist Janice Wong. The dessert shop are located at somewhere on the 2nd floor in Holland Village Pub Street, but it is a really elegant and unexceptional place.

You can freely choose different dessert pairing menu as well as a la carte dessert menu with full of surprise. Every dishes are just piece of art with really unexpected taste.

It was a lovely place with a nice ambience and wonderful service. Perfect for date nights and celebrating that special occasion. I had the Chocolate Tart with Salted Caramel and Blood Orange Sorbet. Good mix of flavours and went extremely went with the recommended choice of wine. That's another thing about this place. They provide drink pairings which can save time deciding on a dessert and a drink.

A must visit place if you are craving for niche and boutique dessert options.
You may also find some of the desserts from the MasterChef Series.

Personally, I would recommend the Plum Ball (can't remember the exact name) option, it is really refreshing and light on your tummy.

To top it up, they also provide you with an option to pair your dessert with a cocktail! In case, you are in need of sweet kick!

Very nice ambience. Manpower is severely lacking. Waited for more than 5 minutes to get seated when there were only 2 groups inside. Waited for more than 15 minutes for our order to be taken, but no one approached us so we just left. What good is it when we can't even order food?

Had a very long wait. I thought it was going to be the best dessert of my life. The cassis plum was so sour though, and the chocolate cake was average. A quite fun place to throw away dollar if the moment is suffice, otherwise better save it for other alternatives.

Dont believe the hype!!! Pretentious, Expensive and didnt taste very good. The desserts here are just molecular for the sake of being cool and fancy. The cocktails here are awful and taste like medicine!

Friendly and attentive service Do call them up to make special arrangements for your loved ones to surprise them. The art on the plate and palete was worth the money! Will definitely come back on special occasions!

If you find yourself adventurous and eager to try something new for dessert, this is the place. Chocolate H2O is amazing. Like multiple tastes collide one another and explode in your mouth.

The fine dining of desserts - the price is not for the faint hearted. If you do not have a sweet tooth, you will experience the same satisfaction in other less expensive establishments. As a big fan of desserts however, this place is a must try.

Janice combines various rare ingredients to bring out the best flavour of the desserts. We ordered Cacao Forest and the Brie Gorgonzola Cheese Cake. Both did not disappoint in terms of taste and presentation.

Service was excellent but that was due to us occupying the whole place. Therefore, we could easily get the attention of the waitresses.

TLDR 2am:dessertbar brings the mix of ingredients and taste of desserts a level above the other usual dessert eateries. The price would deter one from visiting.

2am dessert bar has definitely gone down in its allure. It is a shame really as it was one of the finest dessert restaurants in Singapore. I have been going to the dessert place since 2008 and it has been a landmark, occupying the same place it did for all these years. Today, I went to the restaurant and had its boozy hot chocolate and a summer spread of lime ice cream, lime jelly and gin foam which came pretty poorly presented and tasted rather dismal. The ice cream was frozen. The jelly was a round sheet of rubbery mass laid on top of the ice cream and the gin foam tasted of mosquito repellent. The hot chocolate for which the restaurant was known for, almost tasted like dish water. It was a huge let down from what used to be an experience to remember back in 08.

Avant Garde dessert lounge that serves up some pretty good stuff that play on a combination of flavours and textures (e.g. popping candy and chocolate crunch with velvety cake and ice cream). Some combinations are a bit of a miss but I More

After seeing a foodies/travel show on TV in Australia we decided to pay a visit on our upcoming trip to Singapore. We made our way there and tasted the delectable delights - it was well worth the visit, but a shame their floss machine wasn't working at the time so had to decide on another dessert to try. Would have loved the other creation just as much a these I'm sure.

Cool

Been here many times and I ve always enjoyed myself here. But today, on a Friday night, I was declined because I was wearing slippers.

Apparently they have a dress code now. Personally I think that s ridiculous given Singapore s climate.

lovely place, wonderful but understandably expensive food. there was a potted plant hung upside down it was very cute, and there was one server who was first day on the job but still so friendly and patient and you could tell she was trying her best

Went there with a couple of friends, the service is good but is very slow because of the very obvious one man show where the server kind of has to double up with some bar duties as well (maybe because of the covid situation, hence I shall not let this affect the experience offered). This is what adult desserts are, you haven't had desserts till you've tried this with one of their cocktails or like recommended pairings. Love every single element in each of the dishes, not only did this appealing to the eye but each and every component of the fish is a whole explosion of flavour. Keep the menu rotating and I think the place deserves more than one visit. Cheers!

One word to describe: WOW!

One word to describe: WOW!
So the place itself is very classy, atas (high-class) kind, they even have a dress code (no slipper only, but casual outfit is fine).

After that, the dessert (ahh~), it was great and the taste is special when taste individual, and when combining together its Great! Its not really mind-blowing but its soothing to eat as a late night dessert.

Lastly, the service. The waitress are a little disappointment. They been judging on looks from the start till the end. Thus, is not a good experience, but the dessert is fine :)

Saturday afternoon tea.

Saturday afternoon tea.
Walked in as there are seats due to Covid.
Ambience is not bad, property seating spacing and ok music.
Have heard of Janice Wong for quite a while. Desserts are ok only. Cocktail pairing are also ok.
A bit on the pricy side given the food only tastes so-so. I guess SMU students are really good at marketing.

Walk in and you will feel at ease, the ambience here is lovely and leaning towards being very romantic. Service was top notch and the waitress were very attentive. The desserts are quite good and very creative. Prices are on the high side though.

This place is perfect for late night catch-ups with some friends. I love the fact that the servers would always explain what the dish is all about once they serve it to you. Everything that I have tried on the menu so far did not disappoint. Highly recommended.

Attempted to call in more than 10 times to reserve a table for 8 as the option was not available through online channels. It was quite sad that none of the calls went through, so I had to make a trip down to the physical store to make the reservation. Desserts and service was good, although they should consider getting one more floor staff, as one person is hardly enough during peak periods

I am a huge lover of desserts, and coming from the UK we have a colossal range of very good ice creams, cakes, chocolates, sweets, so I'm spoilt.

I wanted something similar, but in the Singapore style (and not traditional desserts like ice kachang etc). I am very happy to have found 2am Dessert Bar.

A lot of love has gone into the presentation of the desserts and cocktails ad both taste very good. The quality of the ingredients is top notch, but as a lover of virtually anything sweet, I have tried much. While I did enjoy what I ordered, it somehow didn't hit the spot. the flavours (desserts) just didn't have as much depth or richness that I wanted. I'd describe them as not too dynamic on the palate.

The cocktails were great, though I'd had better at the same price. Price - I feel the desserts are too costly for what you receive. While good, they aren't fine dining desserts, though I believe (could be wrong?) that these are among the best in Singapore. The price would stop me coming back unless it was a special day. I would like to give this place a 3.5 (which isn't possible on google) but can't award a 4 solely because of the price (which is the equivalent of 8/10). So, unfortunately will have to settle for a 3.

I can visit this place from AM to PM to give my sweet tooth a hearty treat. Excellent desserts with great service. The desserts have the right amount of sweetness and goes well with suggested wines. Will definitely visit the place more often. Kudos to the entire team for keeping up the quality of the food and service!
