24 carrots catering & events Review

Our company orders catering from them all the time and we have one of these nasty cafes in both of our building (Michelson and MacArthur). Let s start with their crappy catering, tri tip has been raw the last 3 times we ordered it and they sent it again after we requested credit. One would think that they would have notes in their system for key account to keep the business. Now let s move on to their make shift cafes in both of our buildings, its my understanding (from them) that NOTHING is made fresh at these locations, NOT EVEN the eggs that they serve every morning in their burritos. Everything is transported from their corporate office, which might explain why there are so many insects and spiders in their food. I had a spider in my potatoes that was still moving and alive in the container. My colleagues have had insects and bugs in their food and they ve given them the money back for their food nothing more, nothing less.
My complaint is not just the insects and spiders but the owner s arrogance and how this was handled by the OWNER. It took him weeks before he called to rectify this knowing I was a key client and didn t care. When he finally reached me he was rude and pompous
throughout my rant of the spider. I sent them a picture of the creepy crawling my food and he could care less. It was almost as if he was used to these complaints. He offered me a gift card for $20.00; I was insulted after so much time passed and it was the principle between the money we spend there, the spider and his crappy unprofessional attitude. A few weeks later he offered another gift card that can only be used at one location which is absurd when you are a small business. None of this is about money although everything is INCREDIBLY overpriced to help him pay his high rent but its not even quality food. Its awful, we go there because it s the only thing in our building but its pathetic. Not will only will I never step foot in his establishment but we will take our catering somewhere where the food is well kept, cooked thoroughly and customer s are treated like the number one priority not another dollar sign in his pocket. In total this matter was never resolved and I will be sure to tell everyone I know not to eat here because I question the handling of their food and do not want to get sick. (Which has also happened to many of us at times)

We were very disappointed with the actual food. The tasting food rated around 8.5 out of 10; but the actual food at the wedding was maybe 5.5. The cost was aligned with an 8.5 though. The Mesclun salad did not contain the same ingredients as the tasting - just not as much of the premium ingredients like fruit and nuts. The macaroni and cheese was bland while at the tasting it was superbly seasoned. The herb and garlic potatoes were also unseasoned. The steaks were all cooked medium well to well done, smaller and much tougher than the tasting. The chicken was also much smaller The food was cold by the time the last guests got theirs.
We selected four appetizers. Only one came out in quantity. The others I saw one dish of one type and three of another and several of the third (the cheapest ingredients) . I may have missed some plates coming out, but not many.
As the host I was one of first inline and immediate removed the top plate for being dirty. The second plate was also slightly dirty but I took it anyway. The first in line was parents of groom, who were told to select a chicken or beef entree. But I had paid for everyone to have chicken AND beef. There were no leftovers.
In their defense it was holiday weekend and this may have been their B team; but it was very disappointing.
However, the bartenders did a tremendous job. They also did a lovely jobs setting the tables and chairs. The table service was adequate at least at my table they kept glasses filled. Dinner was served buffet style. We had asked for the cakes to be cut and served at the guests table They somehow construed this to cut them and place them all on the table where coffee was being served without telling the guests. Several guests complained to me they did not get a piece of cake, yet we took home five whole uncut cakes.
It was not a disaster. Everyone loved the wedding and the food was generally rated good in feedback, but not excellent. We were going for excellent when we hired what we thought of as a premium caterer.

My wife and I got married at Rancho Las Lomas on March 15th, 2019 with the catering being provided by 24 Carrots. I have to say that our experience with this company was tremendous. Amanda was phenomenal and very kind.

There were multiple things that stood out to me about this company and their employees. First, their facilities are state of the art and really feel top notch. Second, I loved how Amanda would respond very promptly and effectively to any question or concern that we had. I personally run a business and I don't have time to mess around, so its great for me when I have "achievers" like Amanda that can get things done quickly when they are needed. Third, I loved how their staff genuinely cared about me, my wife, and my family. Most people can tell when event staff are just going through the motions vs. when they really put their heart and soul into what they are doing. I applaud their staff because it is evident that they care based in the way that you conduct their business. For example: on the day of the event the bridal party was taking pictures in different parts of the venue which was not close to the cocktail hour and members of the 24 Carrot staff walked around the venue (with trays of appetizers) until they found the bridal party to give us refreshment while taking pictures. It truly showed me that they are willing to go the extra mile for those whom they are serving and I greatly appreciate that. Fourth, the food was incredible, I had multiple people tell me that the food was outstanding and I was even asked if there was a way to get their food regularly.

Overall I would recommend 24 Carrots to any of my friends.

Beautiful venue and amazing service! Food was amazing and all the amenities they provided were really good. They were so helpful in accommodating everything that was needed for my sister s wedding! Their venue was definitely the talk of the night.

I don't know why everyone is bitching about these guys. They where professional at my wedding and the food was amazing. Anyone reading the reviews, just keep in mind those are all personal opinions and honestly sounds to me like they're hard to please. Just make a appointment, go see for yourself and decided from there.

Hired 24 Carrots for a wedding on March 27, 2021
and they did a very nice job. Food and drinks were good and the staff was very professional.

Hannah was a pleasure to work with. By far our favorite vendor during the entire wedding process. She was super professional, patient and extremely thorough. Additionally, on the day of our wedding she made sure we had food set aside and all our guests were thrilled with all the food this company provided.

I used 24 Carrots Catering and Events to feed my 35 staff members for a holiday lunch and it was a hit! Armando showed up nice and early, set up, and served up four different types of tacos with all the sides. Couldn't ask for much more. Armando was super pleasant to work with and friendly to everyone. I train servers at this company. We are the best. I make sure of it.

We had our wedding at The Colony House, a 24 Carrots venue. The food was amazing and the service was excellent! The menu options are virtually limitless with 24 Carrots. They truly do amazing work. Many of our guests told us how much they liked the food we served and we agree! The staff was very friendly and we had our own waiter assigned to us to make sure we got to eat and had drinks. Before we sat down at our sweetheart table, they had delivered our drinks and hors oeuvres. They brought our food out at the very beginning of dinner service to ensure we got to enjoy it. Very tasty! Highly recommended!

Best Brisket of beef that has ever touched these taste buds. Not to mention their salad dressings made from scratch on the daily.
