1835 White Palm Hotel Review

The hotel is good, but I will not say that it justifies its 5 stars and price. The spa is very well done, breakfast for 4, noise insulation for 2, it is allowed to carry dogs here and there are plenty of them - they bark and howl - score 1, average numbers - 4, clean the room if asked - 3. The staff is very polite, but the concierge never I could not help (find the nearest wineries, suggest restaurants) - 4.

Rude and impolite reception, bad service. We were hosting an event there with 100 people and really upset with the behavior of this "5 star" hotel! Not recommended at all.

During my stay from 15 to 18 September 2019, I loved the thalasso treatments that are of a very high quality. The hotel is beautiful with a very professional staff the kindness of the room service as well as the quality of the services .. I recommend this hotel .. Hate to come back

Impeccable hosting of business conferenced, only matched by the personalized service of the FOH staff. And the rooms, from technology to bathroom, bed. Too good to be true .... Then treat yourself to the superb restaurant on the hotels top floor, the food simply sensational.

We had a great weekend.
The hotel lived up to our expectations.
All the staff are always polite, pleasant and available.
The thalasso is perfect.
The restaurant has a small menu but it is still very satisfactory and above all it was very good (bravo to the cook and the servers).
The view from the roof terrace is splendid.
The parking is 40 per night (for my part is expensive) but a 5min walk from the public parking is 36 for 24 hours so it is not better to see less well since at hotel we could have taken advantage of the valet parking.
In conclusion, I recommend this establishment without hesitation.

Too expensive small room at 208 view of the old town bathroom nice but not practical bathing too high does not deserve the number of stars it has

Not satisfied at all a night spent between 12 October 13 in room 118 1st floor seen on city tariff set 276 + 40 parking we did not sleep at night because of a noise from the below the room at night I went down to the reception to report it the person at the reception recognized that it was not normal to have such a noise and the only thing he could do it is giving me ear plugs and could not do anything else (no maintenance at this hotel) On leaving I again expressed my dissatisfaction the person offered me parking but this It's not what I asked. I would have liked to hear excuses and a little gratitude.
Damage because friendly hotel and friendly staff

We stayed at the radisson blue hotel for two nights this experience was a real TRIP:
-Extremely forced smiles from the staff made us uncomfortable
-concerning the thalasso located 700m walk from our room; the swimming pool was so full that it was impossible for us to make a breaststroke we redirected ourselves towards the jacuzzi (not empty either). A man in his forties monopolized the floor for 45 minutes in the jacuzzi, trying to show us the merits of the radisson. So we decided to fall back to our 58m2 room with a sea view.
7:00 am, arrived at breakfast (35 euro per person for a reduced choice)? The hot tub carpet seller, who weaned us soft-boiled eggs.
- the day before our departure we were hungry I decided to open the cupboard including a mini bar I saw cashews at 9euro I closed it immediately.
-day of our departure the elevator opens who do we see? A man in his fifties, 2m10, dead drunk, not knowing on which floor his room was (if he had one of course)
But otherwise it was a stay of madness rich in emotion

Very good hotel I stayed here for a week with my friends and they provide a very good service. The staff is really nice and friendly. incredible hotel. I really recommend it to everyone.

Honestly, we are on the verge of fraud. 7 night stay. When I arrived I found a nightie in the wardrobe !! Housekeeping and botched verification during Covid period! Hair on the carpet. The rooms are clearly dated and not modern. the bedding and carpets could use a big refresh. Doubtful halo on the mattress. No protection for the mattress. the team seems to be working hard to keep up. My room on the beach side overlooks a very busy street. The breakfast is mainly composed of industrial products. The spa is not intended exclusively for hotel guests. People from outside can come. So expect to see strollers, children, inflatable balloons, cooler and sandwich! It feels like camping! THIS HOTEL IS NOT A 5star !!!!

I went with my two teen daughters for a weekend hoping to use the spa. The hotel is well placed and the service is pretty good. But it does not qualify as a 5 star.
Negatives- It is extremely run down. The spa area is dirty. The flooring is completely worn out. The facility is tiny for the number of rooms it caters to. The walkway to and from the spa stinks as the carpet is old and mouldy. The rooms are tiny and the again very ordinary. Like a 3 star hotel.

Also beware, the town is doing some major construction on the waterfront so the noise from the construction is pretty loud and not pleasant if you aren t seeking some quiet time.

On the plus side the view from the terrace restaurant, which is exorbitantly expensive, is nevertheless wonderful. The breakfast spread is pretty good. The service overall is good although we forgot a small back pack in the hotel and it was never returned.

So I am not going back!!

Shabby hotel with dated decor. Fortunately, the team (reception, cleaning team on the floors, breakfast and treatment) gives a little sparkle to this hotel which has lost its 5th star. The spa is top notch and the real asset of this hotel.

Splendid hotel. I had a very pleasant stay. The suite "Mediterranean", perfectly equipped, has a breathtaking view of the sea and the surrounding hills. Real pleasure to enjoy a tea in front of this panorama. In addition, the restaurant, the rooftop and the spa are up to the reputation of the establishment. Ideal place to relax in peace!

The panoramic terrace on the 7th floor is accessible to all and beautiful. A little cool in the evening and server a little overwhelmed. Price rather high but it must be said that this is not a place "low end"

We had booked two suites in August and were disappointed ...
The rooms are not new, modern decoration but damaged furniture, a pity for rooms at this price.
In addition, the service leaves a lot to be desired for a 5 star! We had ordered breakfast in the room for 7:30 am and it arrived at 8:30 am after 3 calls!
We stayed 5 nights at this hotel and will not be back.
In addition, the hotel is a bit out of the way.

Great day at the spa. Top frame and disconnection ensured. There is a lot of nook and cranny with several hammams, rest room with waterbed, we do not know which activities to choose.

For a weekend, small and simple room for a 5 star, no special attention as a free bottle of water, street noise and at breakfast impossible to have a boiled egg despite 2 claims served raw ... otherwise spa and nice pool

The hotel is lovely. The staff are even lovelier. But it is VERY expensive!
- The breakfast is fab and can t be faulted, its really exceptional with a lot of choice.
- The room we had was quite small, and although it had a balcony with a sea view it was over a main road which you couldn t see in the photos and so it made enjoying the balcony harder. The room lighting set-up was definitely over-engineered but we got used to it!
-The spa was lovely, very relaxing but beware the price of the classes was HIGH!
- The rooftop bar view is phenomenal, especially at sunset but don t expect great service. Staff were slow and drinks were just ok
- The beach is about two minutes walk from the hotel, not even. And it s a very nice one. Get up early and the hotel will give you towels and water for your beach visit.

Beautiful views from the roof top bar if you can get past bouncer/security first. Not very nice....

I tested the rooftop, beautiful view but the service is deplorable ... really bad to wait 15min for a server and then 30 to have on the table the bad drinks. There was not a lot of customers the waiters did not give theirs!

Such a disappointment. This is not a 5 star hotel. Zero customer service. No service at pool. Extremely dated. Avoid pls as better hotels in vicinity - rooms are tiny. Shame I spend so much with Radisson as a concierge member

Hotel ideally placed near the old town and the Palais des Festivals. The view from the restaurant is beautiful. Predict a room with sea view. The others are a little sad. The restaurant rates are a bit high.

Negatives: a very high price for the dining area. The bar area is much too expensive (20 euros cocktail) you pay the setting because the cocktail is nothing different from a cocktail 10euros

I booked a massage for my wife who was unable to park around this hotel, the valet parking service did not help either. So I called the reservation service to let them know (20 minutes before the appointment) or / and ask to postpone this appointment for the massage - refused. Very disappointed for this refusal, it was the anniversary of our wedding. Too bad for this hotel, never again because they are flexible like an iron bar. 130 in the trash

What can I say, handsome rich and super welcoming

We could not use the breakfast service, but I saw the table .... and I was sorry not to have taken advantage of it.

Nn know the concept of beauty and functional French, xche was my first experience in France, but certainly nn reflects it at all! In our much-loved Amalfi coast we complain about high prices per night, but at least there are taken care of the smallest detail is luxurious and friendly treatment regardless of nationality or by appearance !!! here's nn find none of this is enough say the word "Italian" that start with little professionalism jokes strictly in French and indifference! What then, we are real nn know their language but they may be more prepared and study our seeing that they are working in the hospitality and thanks largely to tourism! ... then conclude x rooms paid as a suite but in reality traps x mice so small that you have to pass one at a time at the foot of the bed .... and what most scandalous of all but double room with two single mattresses attached manually and constantly widen the centro..e attention nn my husband took a simple room but a superior paid about 450 per night ... impossible REALLY! And they call it the city of luxury ... the famous walkway of cinema .... bah!

Neat rooms, however no private parking or private beach of the hotel as incorrectly stated in the google ad.

I found a used mask in my bathrobe pocket ... a little shocked at this discovery.
There is a wait to use the hotel pool not that great when you see the price of the room.
Room with a beautiful sea view and a good location but that should rather be refreshed (bathroom, balcony) for me this hotel does not deserve a 5 *
-no water bottle renewal the second night
- wait to go to the swimming pool
- hammam sauna and restaurant closed
- medium quality room
-for a 5 * I think it would be important to ask people leaving the hotel how it was during their stay
For a night at 450 euros I find that there is a lot to review for me, it's very disappointing
