This place is just meh all around and The Reuben is pathetic. I don t like leaving bad reviews for restaurants normally, but this place was just mediocre at best.

The service was friendly and attentive, and the burger and fries were really tasty.

I want to like this place as the beer is pretty good. However, the last two times I ve been the service has been quite bad. First time we had dinner and the food took a long time to come out. The server never came by to check on us so we had to find a different server to order more beers. Then just yesterday I went in for a drink around 11. The place was half empty but all the tables still had empty plates, glasses, etc. on them with nobody seeming to make an effort to clean up. Stood around for about 5 minutes before leaving to go somewhere else.

Great atmosphere, great staff! This is by far the best place to relax and grab quality beer at! Prices and location is great! As a local in Gainesville. I highly recommend Big Top!

Went for Trivia Night! Fun, open atmosphere with community table style seating and a moderate selection of beers including many of their originals. Full kitchen and friendly staff! Close to the heart of downtown Gainesville, and within walking distance of many other spots!

Staff was friendly and helpful. Beer selection was awesome. Food was pretty good. Finding free parking is difficult. Definately worth a visit and open on mondays.

Don't come here if you're looking for a good decent beer. I ordered 4 different beers and absolutely all were flat. I'm a beer fan and wad very disappointed. This brewery must improve a lot

Awesome selection of beers on tap and the service here is outstanding. Adrian always takes great care of us and his entire staff has a pleasant/light/fun attitude which makes coming here very enjoyable. Definitely recommend stopping by when you are in town.

Beers are incredible. If you can't find something you like, you don't like beer.

The beer is decent. Like that they offered flights. The food however is horrible. Appetizers are severely overpriced for the minimal amount you received. And everything was bland. The beer cheese that came with two separate appetizers was basically the burnt lumpy chunks from the bottom of pot. We returned and even though the replacements looked better, they tasted just as bad. There is a reason breweries don't serve food. This place should stick to beer only

Love this place!!!!! Wait staff were pleasant and knowledgeable. Been there many times. Moe the bartender knows his beer and is good conversation. Waitress Melissa is fast, friendly and very nice. Food is excellent and always give my compliments.

So much fun! They have a foosball table in the back and food trucks parked out front and the beers I had were very good!

AC was not working so it was real hot. Ordered an appetizer and received the wrong one. We got asked if we wanted to keep it anyways which we all thought implied it would be free. We got charged for both even after asking to verify with a manager.

I work overnights so this place was awesome to stop by for a good lunch and beer after a long night. Moe is awesome - been awhile since ive been back due to drinking every beer on the menu, but have heard their list has changed since the last time ive been. Regardless of this fact this is easily an up and coming brewery in Gainesville and the food is so good. If youre like me and eat two filling meals a day go for the Daredevil Totchos as they are easily the most filling and delicious thing on the menu. The burgers are also very good along with the Cuban.

Plenty of beer on tap. Even had a few ciders too. Our bartender was great! She even had a few mixes memorized that turned out great!

Beer is great. Food is good. Server is chatty. Beware of automatic 25% tip added to bill regardless of party size. You can move the tip up or down (it isn't easy to do and you have to do it before you insert your card), but they don't tell you that it is already on there, so it would be super easy to accidentaly double tip. They have an updated menu with a bunch of new items as of this week (5/20) and the wait staff seems to not quite know them all yet. Also, it was really weird when my friend's Cesar salad came with the dressing on the side. I definitely would go back for the beer, however! I had two of their brews that were amazingly delicious. And while I might snag an appetizer, I'd probably walk down the street for supper.

Awesome people, great atmosphere, and fantastic beer! I'm obsessed with the Hawaiian Lion Porter any many others! They also have the best breakfast burrito I've ever had! I love everything about this place! I highly recommend it!

I am a big fan of Big Top Brewing s beers from the Sarasota location, so I was very excited to hear they were coming to Gainesville.

The brewery had its grand opening on the day we went. It was busy, but not to the point that we couldn t move around. There was tasteful live music playing inside. Bar games were availability including a couple arcade games and giant connect 4. A few TVs are scattered around the walls of the brewery. The main room is cozy and makes good use of the space. It too cold outside for us to venture into the beer garden, but there was outside seating available.

We sat at a table where one of the staff members happily waited on us. We tried a few of the beers, the totchos , and a burger with bacon jam. I can safely say everything was delicious. All of the beers we tried were awesome and we look forward to trying even more. Our waitress was attentive and friendly despite how busy the brewery was.

Overall, Big Top s new Gainesville location might become our new favorite spot to have casual drinks in downtown. Great space, atmosphere, food, and of course beer.

Love this place. Food is usually very good. Stopped by after work one night and got pretzel appetizer. It was aweful. I'm giving them a pass this time and keeping at 5 stars. But, at 5 bucks it was terrible. Great beer as always.

Awesome beer and the bar is very nice! A lot of bar games and a good seating set up. You dont feel crowded in the main bar area and the rest rooms are clean. Staff is cool and very helpful! We Love this brewery. If we were closer we would be here every weekend!

Service was great but the beer was just not very good. Keep trying, ya'll. You can do it.
