May 18 - 22, 2017 - I hosted a four day event at the Astor Crown Plaza including blocking 45 rooms with their sales department, leasing their executive club room and dinner and dance in the Astor Ballroom. The professionals in the sales department and catering department made my job of hosting easy and successful. There was not one single complaint from my guest about our rooms. The Ballroom was set up just as I had planned and with a few of their decorative touches that made it absolutely beautiful. Our menu selection was "On the Bayou" buffet dinner and the comments I received were, "I can't believe this is a buffet"!
