They killed the baby squirrel within 10 minutes of me leaving. I decided to go back and get it because I felt they weren't going to care for it, but it was too late. They should have told me on the phone before I drove all the way to Longmont that a two week old would be killed. I informed them on the phone that it was practically a newborn. It all happened so fast. If the critter you find is too young, now this ... they will kill it in a NY minute. Had I known what they were going to do... I would have spent a couple more days trying to reunite the little one w/mama squirrel.
