Typical terrible Warranty customer service. I emailed them twice with no response. Long wait time when calling no matter when I called.
They make you jump through troubleshooting hoops (I had to take apart my treadmill console to look at the wires.) Basically made me do troubleshooting a trained technician would be best suited for.
They pulled the standard ,"call us back at THIS number and you'll get through direct-" and another 15 minute hold. I gave up on the phone after the recorded audio suggested using their customer online chat. Then waited some more...
Finally, got someone willing to help, kinda. She is sending me a new console for the treadmill, but I now have another 1800 number to call to set up service. After all this I can't imagine this number to be much better.
I bought this Warranty through Sears when I bought my NordicTrack treadmill and it was a $250 warranty for 3 years. They make it so obnoxious to try to use the warranty that I wouldn't be surprised if it is designed to deter people from seeking the help through to the end so that they can just keep the money without doing much.
I understand them trying to save their resources, but I didn't spend mine so that I could spend 3-4 hours of my own time doing someone else's job.
If this is the extended warranty I get with a NordicTrack I will certainly rethink ever getting one again.
