At this point, I am absolutely livid about the ser...

At this point, I am absolutely livid about the service I have received from SBMI Group. We have had several issues with the company over the past few years that we have been in our unit. Our current situation is definitely the icing on the cake though. We put in a service request August 4th to have our air conditioning fixed. It is now August 30th and we are still getting the run around. We contact them every couple days for the past month and every call is the same... They will look into and contact us back. Then no one contacts us. We are unable to open our windows for a couple different reasons. First, the El Cortez is a historic building with no screens on the windows and we have a one year old daughter so leaving windows open isn't an option. Second, they are currently painting the exterior of our building which involves scraping lead paint so having the windows open is also not an option for this reason. For the past month, the thermostat in our apartment has been reading around 80 degrees during the day. It is literally unlivable in our unit. This morning we spoke with them yet again and they let us know that someone would contact us back within the hour. Still no call... shocking.
