Triage4pediatrics recently started to handle after hour calls for my childrens clinic. I called in with some alarming behavior from my youngest son, assuming they would confirm my thoughts that it was just gas pain or something. The nurse who took my call told me it sounded like intussusception and to get to an ER right away. I had never even heard of that but trusted her judgement and left for the ER right away. We got transported from our local ER to Childrens Hospital to find out he did indeed have intussusception. I truly thank this nurse from the bottom of my heart for saving my baby that night! I am so thankful and can sleep better at night knowing I can call and trust these nurses when our clinic is closed.
