The Tacoma Art Museum does less with more than any other museum in Western Washington. Museum owns an incredible collection of Western art featuring all the major Western artists, but they only show a few good pieces mixed with junk, PC, and neon. Skip it. Only display in the museum that's reliably good is the Chihuly Room.
