Admission discounts everyday for LA County residents. On First Fridays, LA County residents get in for free after 3pm. But, may I suggest becoming a member because it's worth it: free admissions, members only nights, discounts, and easy way to support the arts.

This place is so big and contains so much to see, you may want to spend a good portion of time. Or, if you're a member, you can strategically focus on one building at a time.

The food and drink options here are great. They have the Cafe for casual fare, C+M for coffee, and Ray's and Stark Bar right at the entrance courtyard.

The entrance courtyard is even enough just as a cool hang out spot. The Urban Light large scale sculpture that is synonymous to Miracle Mile is right there, while Ray's offer amazing cuisine, and Stark Bar offers a nice gathering place for cocktails.

Great place to visit morning to night. Just do a quick visit and scan. I'm sure you'll find you're own reasons to stay or come back.
