Hotel is beautiful and rich in history. Staff was generally friendly. Room was clean, average size, furnishings were a little outdated. Biggest knock was the check-in experience. We arrived in Louisville early on Saturday and dropped our bags with the concierge as our room was not ready. Explored downtown for a while. Digital room key never showed up in my app, so we returned to the hotel at 4:30 (we had a 5:30 event a few blocks away and still needed to get ready) and were told that the room still wasn t ready. I had to ask if they could put us in another room, and we were given a room on the 10th floor, where the ballrooms are. 10th floor was very noisy due to a wedding reception and some loud conversations outside our room. Would have been a 4 or possibly 5 star review if check-in experience had been better.
