Spotlessly clean. Good bathroom: power shower and bath. Room safe a boon for leaving laptops and valuables. This alone a decider for me.
Ok the corridors are drab and the decor is dated but everything works and all the staff I met are friendly.
Position: slap bang in the middle of everything. Times Square. Fifth Ave shops. Radio City. Rockafeller Tower.
Penn Station easy to get to (I walked - 15 min) or subway line 1.
