Our family vacation to Beaches Ocho Rios was aweso...

Our family vacation to Beaches Ocho Rios was awesome. The resort was clean and beautiful, the weather and water were perfect, and the food and drinks were good. But what really made the vacation for us was the people we met. It is hard to put into words how everyone went out of their way to make our stay unforgettable. Here are a few that stood out to us.

The watersports crew were a blast the whole trip. Alex went out of his way to engage in conversation and develop a relationship with not only us but other guests as well. He truly has a way with people. Whether it was just talking about life, or taking us out sailing, he was a joy to be around. When we left it felt as though we were saying goodbye to a family member. Denya (aka Firecraker) was all over the place keeping guests busy with sailing, boating, and other activities. Kemars made sure to give us the thumbs up after every return trip on the boat. Steve at the beach would always make it a point when passing by to exchange the most joyful greeting. When you see people that happy, you just can t help but be happy yourself. Livington was friendly and outgoing and would stop by everyday to catch up. He even went out of his way to help fix my daughter in laws heels that broke.

Venicia was our housekeeper and made sure we always had everything we needed every day. It felt like we were walking into a fresh room when we returned everyday. At beach bars, Chadia and Ann-Marie were quick to serve up a drink and a smile. Kayla from the Opa Bar was a pleasure to talk with. Courtney and Prince made our dinner at Neptune one of our most delightful. Both had great service, but more importantly made us laugh the whole dinner. Tom Cruise is great at his job. It isn t the easiest to get kids who don t know each other to have fun, but he does it. He is just a fun guy who really seems to love kids and his job.

We can t say enough about Stevin from the Parisian. Our first encounter was when I was looking for ice and the machine was broken. He said no problem and went to retrieve a full bucket of ice. But he didn t stop there. My husband got sick and couldn t make dinner. Stevin arranged for the chef to prepare a chicken broth for him and sent us back with broth, bread, and dessert. Everyday we would have great conversation, conversation that friends would have. We won t forget him.

We wish the best to each one of you. See you in August 2021!!
