Beautiful building and grounds. Nice decor and free snacks. Our stay was disappointing for several reasons. Given the price and the website, we were expecting outstanding food. After a long day of travel, we ordered room service for our family of four. We waited an hour for its arrival. The hamburger was fine, but the three orders of fish and chips were so soaked in oil as to be inedible. We slept in and got to the celebrated breakfast at 9. Apparently a large group had come through before us, and no one was managing the buffet, so there was no sausage or salmon, no eggs except scraps, and just two muffins. My wife was also disappointed that the breakfast teas were empty. I spoke to a staff member about it, who looked around and disappeared without responding. We ate cereal and drank juice. Our overnight stay and room service cost $550. Needless to say, we won't be returning there. Oh, and be prepared for valet parking for $23 plus tip.
