We stayed here one week ago (July 2015.) Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Bedroom was cosy and well equipped. Bed very comfortable. Although there was a wedding that night, our sleep was not in any way disturbed and there was absolutely no sound disruption. The only criticism that we have is the very poor set up at breakfast time. It is a buffet style breakfast. We arrived down for breakfast at 9.30am. There were two waiters there who showed us to our table. When we went to get our fry, after putting the bacon and sausages on the plate, we discovered there were no fried eggs left! We ordered these and had to wait a good 6/7 minutes. Several people were standing around waiting also. There was no breakfast orange juice left. When we ordered tea and coffee, we had to ask the waiter to bring us out some sugar and milk from the kitchen! When we got our toast, we had to ask twice before receiving butter from the kitchen! They didn't seem to know if they were coming or going but we felt that too much was expected off these two young men and much more help would have been required for the smooth running of the restaurant. Bar lacked a little atmosphere also but was okay. On check out, we reported the poor service to the receptionist who said he would make the restaurant manager aware when she arrived for work that day. Should she not have been there for service at breakfast time? Overall, the stay was fairly positive but restaurant service needs attention!
