We were in the process of doing a refinance with another company and we sent emails and phoned numerous times and it was weeks before they acknowledged that they received anything from us let alone contact us. They finally did when there was hardly enough time to try and move our business. We were looking for a 5 year term rate and the best they would offer us was 4.2% and that is after being a good client for 5 years never missing a payment. The advertised rates out there were all below 3.2% with the other institutions. Finally we ended up going to Northwood Mortgage in Markham ON. I have heard them advertise on the radio for many years and I thought I would give them a try. We were hooked up with Andrew Patricio and he was nothing short of amazing. He was with us every step of the way. Never making us wait very long for an answer if we had a question. Many years ago I worked for a retail company and Customer Service was one of its main priorities. In the last few years I was loosing faith because a lot of companies don't seem to care....well Andrew from Northwood has restored that faith because it was the best customer service I have seen in a long time.
