N. K. Review of The Manhattan at Times Square ...

I was looking for an inexpensive and closer to the center of Manhattan a 3-star hotel, similar to Watson Times Square (excellent hotel - I advise everyone, but a little more expensive). Found this hotel, according to some reviews the hotel fit our requirements. Guys, I honestly do not advise you. We do not even take into account that we arrived at 7 am, but stopped in the room at 4 pm, while sleeping on the sofas at the reception. We were told that the rooms will be given only by 16.00 and they do not have an early check-in, since all guests check out after 12 and they need to have time to clean the rooms. Well, I agree, if I had not seen how dozens of people left in the morning, and we were with a baby for 2 years, well, it really was impossible to make an exception for such families. Okay, not at 7 am, well, at least at 12, but not at 9 hours of waiting. After all, the child needs to be washed, washed and fed. Well ok - it's all the little things. Hotel description: outside - more or less suitable for 3 stars, inside the lobby is also clean and well-groomed, the staff seem to smile and work. After leaving the elevator, tin begins, an old and shriveled carpet, of a dark, terrible color, with an accompanying musty smell in the corridor, accompanies you to your room. When you go into your room you start ah .. to sleep and ask yourself the question, why the fuck did I pay $ 240 for a couple of nights (the hotel also presented me with a bonus before departure, a bill for additional services of $ 80, this is like a federal state tax from a non-resident, and I have a question , why not immediately include it in the price, and not make it a surprise at the end: in short, it is very mean) and for what this money. The room is really a barn. We visited 4 states, 8 cities and 6 hotels, 3-4 stars, but this one was the worst, even in Page, Arizona, the 2 star hotel for $ 45 was on a level higher than this hotel. Disliked: dirty bathroom and carpet in the room. The absence of a refrigerator - and this is in America, in New York !!! How is that???
Soundproofing is finally a song: all the neighbors on the floor could be heard as if they were in your room, from above, from below, from the side and from behind. Thanks to the doors installed in all rooms (absolutely in all), you will hear the knocks from closing the doors around the clock and you will know who and when to whom came, that is, a lightly sleeping person HER will sleep, believe me. The furniture is as old as the renovation itself. Cleanliness in the room for 2 out of 5. In many places, dust and dirt.
What we liked: the location was winning, which is why we got caught.
TEXT: take a little more expensive and further away, as there are no problems with transport, getting to any point is absolutely easy, Google Maps rules. Well, for the worst I can recommend Watson Times Square Hotel.
