The University Wisconsin Madison and the surrounding campus area has the most frustrating parking anywhere in the world. I can say this with authority after having lived and worked in some twenty three plus countries globally that include third world countries. This is pure frustration for any vistor, we had meetings arranged in the Helen C White building, even with a valid parking permit I was unable to gain entrance to this designated parking garage. This was then followed by a further 40 minutes of driving around looking for a parking space. The UW MADISON management should invest and implement the construction of several parking structures immediately.
