Visiting from out of town and decided to come here...

Visiting from out of town and decided to come here for breakfast an hour before closing. Was seated and water was brought to the table promptly. Was not particularly busy, however after bringing my water, my server did not return and the manager or owner asked if I had ordered after about 7-10 minutes. She thanked me for my patience and had another server take my order. All the staff were very pleasant, so no complaints there. Unfortunately, my server just wasn't very attentive. Very nice, but not attentive. Had ordered a cranberry juice which I never received and by the time she came to check on me I was ready for the check. The food was okay, not great, but not horrible. Grits were watery and the bacon very hard. House potatoes were seasoned well. I prefer crispier potatoes, but I they were still good. The peach compote was ok, not worth the $1.50 to me. Decor was pleasant. Did notice the floors need to be refinished, but the ambiance was quiet and nice. Only used the bathroom to wash my hands, but from what I saw it was clean and neat. Low-key restaurant that meets basic needs. Provided a pic.
