I brought in my ML55, which I bought there in the past, for tire replacement and to have the cranking noise in the front repaired. The adviser recommended the replacement of rack and pinion and I agreed, assuming the car should be ready for the 3 day holiday weekend. Surprisingly, the adviser took the days off and no one returned the call. I ended up going to the dealership and managed to talk to the repair manager, who told me the adviser was off and the parts won't be in until next Tuesday after the holidays. I requested the loaner, but she said all the loaners were reserved. After the holidays, I still had to call to check the status of the car repeatedly and the adviser finally returned the call telling me the parts had to come from Germany and it would take about a month and the tires were not available and had to be special ordered. I could not believe what I heard. He should have known the availability of the parts and the tires when I brought in my car. I was extremely disappointed how they handled my repair request. They completely failed my expectation.
