Magnificent museum, but crowded when I went to see...

Magnificent museum, but crowded when I went to see the Christian Dior exhibition yesterday. In addition the room is not air conditioned at all and it was literally a "sauna" thanks to human warmth from the entrance. The agents at the entrance control the ticket, but not the number of visitors. I couldn't focus on the exhibit. So it was a waste of money for me.
I like to visit museums while traveling in Europe, but I have never seen a museum of this size and reputation that completely neglects the comfort of visitors.
I advise you to go there dressed light with a fan or a pocket fan.
