My travel companion and I stayed overnight at St. Regis during a weekend. According to records - St. Regis is the oldest hotel in NYC. But, you wouldn't be able to tell as it appears to have been very well maintained. I scored an upgraded suite with my Marriott points and I couldn't have been more pleased. The suite was configured with a living area, bedroom and 1.5 bathrooms. Need extra hotel conveniences? Just dial "Butler" on your phone and your needs will be met. Valet parking is almost $90/night, but I reckoned convenience over cost during my stay. You're in downtown NYC and so, you have plenty of shopping and dining options in close proximity. I'll likely stay here again.
