I m from New England, my husband is not. I went here as a kid so I figured hey, he might like this, let s make a day of it. And so we did.

I totally understand we re still in the midst of a pandemic and businesses are required to abide by state restrictions/regulations in order to operate. Wearing masks, social distancing, roping off areas that would normally see high traffic all make sense and are perfectly reasonable requirements/actions.

What wasn t reasonable was continuing to charge full price for admission ($32) even though a large portion of the exhibits were closed/roped off. We had no idea we wouldn t be able to walk into huts or houses to view things.

I think it would ve been nice if they were like Due to the pandemic and limited access to exhibits and other areas we are discounting standard admission tickets. Even if they made the fact that a decent number of areas would be roped off and inaccessible more blatant to their walk-in visitors it would ve been fair. We just felt cheated.

Also! If I am mistaken and $32 is less than the normal gen admission price or if the areas I ve mentioned are normally [pre-pandemic] roped-off then please let me know and I ll take this review down immediately. Otherwise, my advice to anyone thinking about going right now: hold-off until things are...back to the way they were?
