I would rather rate a zero. We are building a new home and our biggest pain has been in dealing with Baton Rouge Water company. The back and fourth about placing a meter, discovering a meter was already there, being told he have to pay a higher rate for the existing meter, but not over the phone, it has to be done in person. When we show up in person, two ladies holler "system's down" as we walk through the door.
We proceeded to wait for them to stop explaining how long it would take, we told them we just need to pay for the meter to be moved. They say we need an application, we've done that. They say we need an inspection, we've done that. Then we are told the lady " Margie" who takes care of that is out today, won't be back till January 3rd!
Problem solving ensues, not by the employees, but us. As they continue to urge us out, we make suggestions, troubleshoot, finally they say " maybe we can look it up in the system." I could go on with the complete apathy and incompetence.
