Thought they were good at first. Went to Shannon Motors last April to purchase a car at the Warwick branch. They were nice but it was a frustrating experience because they were so slow and I ended up at the location for almost 4 hrs. I stayed because I felt they were decent people that wouldn't screw me. Bill in finance was such a nice honest good guy and I felt comfortable with them. I had to go with a "buy here pay here" option due to my credit score greatly limiting my choice in cars. Only one that fit their criteria for the "buy here pay here" had 100k miles, but I was ASSURED that I would "drive it a year then I could upgrade" well here I am 16 months later and can't upgrade, even to another buy here pay here car. So now I am stuck with a car for another 3 years that already has 115,000 miles on it that I bought in good faith believing I could upgrade based on what I was led to believe when I purchased the vehicle. And to make it even worse, thier other finance guy Worthington is a real jerk. He knew how upset I was, and when I explained to him what I was told when I bought the car and that i was mislead he actually just outright laughed at me. He thought it was hysterical. He then tried to tell me I've gone into "collections" with them 31 times in the last 16 months???? (Some days I call my payment in on Saturday because I can't get through to someone when I call Fridays but this has only happened 5/6 times. Scince when is less than 24hrs late considered collections????) I also have a copy of my credit report that lists Shannon Motors as paid on time as agreed for the entire time I've owned the vehicle..... So now I am stuck with this car. They won't let me upgrade, won't let me do another buy here pay here so at least I can try to get something with less than 100k miles, and I can't go anywhere else because I owe four times the cars retail value through their awful program
