hi,
the biggest challenge for the space ship and space walk is cosmic radiations, witch we are protected here on earth ,because of our magnetic field created by our own earth,the question i have is: why dont we build the magnetic field to cover any space ship ( manned or unmanned ) to protect it from those cosmic radiations pushed to it by our sun or coming from near stars in our galaxy , and here we reduce the shield we build around the ship to protect it form that? and then the weight for this ship will be less and we can add more equipment and it will be safe for the astronauts in the space.
