Went for state-wide covid testing and had an appointment. There was no information on their website or in any of the email confirmations I received detailing where in the facility to go and how I should be prepared. I don t have a car and walked there only to find a huge lack of signage. I called multiple numbers at the hospital including the one listed on their covid-testing website (that one just blatantly didn t exist when called) I was finally connected to someone in the main hospital who didn t really know what the set up was like and couldn t forward me to someone who did. The staff on the phone also warned me that it was a drive-through site and that I really shouldn t be on foot. After trudging around in the snow (barely any sidewalks were plowed) I went inside a building to ask for directions. I was rudely treated and the given poor advice on walking along their active construction site. Finally I arrived at the remote testing area which was just past the employee parking lot they could have just said that on their website by this time I was soaking wet and shivering. The testing staff were kind but when I told them I had trouble finding how to get here they were unsympathetic. You would think they would want to include detailed locations and procedures in order to avoid messy confused people who are possibly infected milling about their facilities. They offered no options on what to do if you don t have car. I went home frustrated and exhausted.
