Disappointing and poor weekend stay at Pentecost. Chose for the first time to try hotel VejleFjord Spa after a recommendation from a good friend. Even before the weekend really had to start, it started badly, when a traffic accident lowered the traffic by 1 hour and 45 minutes from Zealand to Jutland. When I had booked time for a massage in advance, I called to make them aware that we were a little late about 15 minutes and at that moment wanted to hear if it was possible to postpone the massage a bit (especially now that I had paid 925, - for it). The receptionist (Ditte) clearly answered no to this and that we just had to hurry (stress!). An hour later, the traffic has not become easier and I therefore call again to make them aware. The same receptionist is extremely arrogant, condescending and without a sense of situation. She tells us that she cancels the time, as we can only be there 15 minutes after the agreed time and otherwise charges full price for the treatment, as we have not canceled the day before. Incidentally, she is so flabby that she allows herself to tell us that we ourselves are around it and just could have driven earlier! (Without knowing what time we had been driving or hearing after a traffic accident prevented us). This is under ALL criticism in such a service function !! Especially at a price of 10,000 + for a weekend stay. At least there was no relaxation. I have never in my life experienced such a poor attitude for a receptionist.

The rooms were very small and certainly not a place one wanted to be, even despite a nice view from the window.

The restaurant did not have much control either. We are made aware that we have to book time for dinner, which was a pre-determined menu. We did this. Despite this, we did not wait until approx. 35 minutes on the starter to wait a further 40 minutes for the main course. Despite the fact that we wanted the main course served right after the meal. The excuse we were met with was the kitchen is busy . This is under all criticism !! A restaurant had at any one time been able to handle that task more efficiently. Disappointing for the money. The food tasted good, but without being flashy. Unfortunately, the appetite had almost disappeared both days after too long a wait.

The spa department was quite nice. However, for many people. The challenge here was also that Vejleford signs that you have to use the hangers and not "reserve" chairs etc. with towels and books, but no control over this does. Most chairs and corners were therefore occupied most of the time.

I will NEVER come! back to this place! alone Due to the extremely arrogant, and condescending receptionist who during the whole stay bothered me with his flabby attitude. Even when I check out at another receptionist, she gets up from the back of the room, to wade all the way up in my head, stand to smile falsely and say I have not done anything wrong you can just complain about me if you want to". The other receptionist even looked somewhat surprised when Ditte suddenly broke in. This is SO insanely much beyond all bounds and a service gene that has never been seen inferior before! I therefore express the greatest disappointment and hope that others do not set foot on VejleFjord during her watch!
