Good room, front of house staff and spa. But De Vere are cutting corners. Their centralised booking service is ill informed about the actual hotel. Access to the Spa is only in very limited times for residents of the hotel without extra charges, especially at weekends. They aren t respecting disabled customers by placing the marquee on parking spaces and blocking the footpath forces you to take a circuitous route from reception to the boathouse pub. It s hardly worth booking a table at the boathouse as they haven t considered what your needs are when you arrive.
