The place is lovely, the cats are awesome and I truly appreciate the work that the staff there do for those cats on a daily basis. The only reason I am giving this a 3 star is because of the attitude of one particular volunteer who was 'keeping up the rear' of our little tour group recently. I wish she had said her name, because I would post it here. Really, your job is to just make sure we are all not doing something stupid ( most people probably don't mean to) and that we enjoy our $40.00 tour. But instead you were rude and obnoxious toward many of the people in the group - threatening to 'remove them from the park' when they didn't realize the group was moving on from one cat to the next. While I know it's important to keep everyone together, it's equally important that people get to take pictures and enjoy the cats - that's why we are there! The lead tour guide does not wear a microphone, so it's not always possible to hear what's being said among a group of 20 or so folks in an outdoor setting. You really crossed the line when you told one older gentlemen to 'get moving, I've told you three times!" and " I can remove you from the tour' if you keep doing this". Seriously? He is not a 4 year old! Treat people with respect and they will do the same. I know one couple who had thought of buying a brick in memory of their 15 year old cat, was totally turned off by the attitude and actions of this one sardonic and unpleasant woman. If you don't know how to be nice, go do something in the office. I wish I could say I would be back with more friends, but now I"m reluctant to have them treated with such disrespect!
