Very unfortunately I have been to this hospital many many times. From mother in ER, Brother in ER, Kid in ER, Cat scans, Small surgery, Child being born, and then visiting people at other hospitals. I have to say that this hospital deserves 9 Stars out of 10.. They do a great job in creating a peaceful environment, and the attention and care i've received by the staff has been overwhelmingly attentive, for being a 40 year old male, kind attention is not something we are used to receiving. Every and i say Every staff i have been treated by, nurse, NP, technician does their job very professional and personable. Great Job PIH.. If I were to give them 10 stars, I would only take 1 star away from Emergency room front desk. from the handful of times I have gone in, the front desk staff and the security do not get 10 stars. they get like 1 star.. they have never presented anywhere near what happens when you get inside the hospital.
Emergency room front desk and security could be trained a lot more in people skills where people really need help and then they could get a full 10 stars.
