I have taken extended warranty with a second hand car. It had been giving trouble ever since buying. On two occassions, the showroom contacted warranty team for authorising repair costs. On one occasion, they covered part if the repair costs and the response was quick enough. Although no communication with me about what they are laying for and what they are not!!!!
On second occassion (during COVID-19 to be fair), the response from them was extremely slow and poor communication leading to delay in authorising part of payment and car was with garage for 3.5 weeks!!!. Again, I had to ask them numerous times to explain the breakdown of what payment is covered by them and what not!!!




I have not chosen motorway direct myself but was offered when purchased used car through a dealer. It is worth checking the terms and conditions and what is covered and not covered when buying warranty. Also customer service/could communication with customers certainly could improve.
