Location: Makati Shangri La is probably one of the hotels that live up to its name. Firstly, the location of the hotel is the best in Manila. Makati, being the Central Business District, you can find everything around the corner. I had heard about the terrible traffic of Manila but was able to reach the hotel in 30 minutes from the airport via the expressway. This would really help people visiting Manila for business purpose and don't want to waste time in the traffic while on their way to the airport...

Rooms: The rooms were really large and had an amazing view. I stayed on the 23rd floor and could see flights taking off and touching down from my window as the airport was not far away. The room had all the amenities. It had a separate shower cubicle as well as a bathtub. The hotel offered fruit plate, which was replenished every day...

Food: Food was simply amazing. The vegan selection, which is one of their signature dishes was awesome and whenever I ordered room service, it didn't disappoint me. They had a fabulous breakfast spread...

Overall it was a pleasant and relaxing experience staying at Makati Shangri-La...
