Took the Great Ocean Road tour a few days ago. Neither my partner nor I are "tour bus" types but it sounded like a good way to see a lot of the countryside in a short time. We are VERY happy we signed on!

This was the best value-for-the-dollar of any of the activities we did in Australia. The day was very full (we were picked up very promptly at 0800 and got back around 9:30 p.m.) but the variety of sights and activities made the day fly by. Our guide was Daniel and I couldn't recommend him more highly. He was knowledgeable, funny, attentive and had obviously put a great deal of time and effort into preparing for the tour. He had chosen music for each stop (the surfing beach - "Surfing USA"!!), shared interesting and detailed information along the way, and ensured everyone was comfortable and happy during the day.

What a great way to see the country!
