Rather than see my child for what he came in for (...

Rather than see my child for what he came in for (a skull fracture for which he had no symptoms, for which we were referred for a neuro consult by Presbyterian), the Children's medical staff did not perform ANY exams or scans for his condition; they only filed a report with CPS alleging physical abuse. After testing my toddler for drugs and taking x-rays looking for other signs of abuse (there were NONE), we then spent hours with NO care - through 3 different doctors shifts according to the nurses - and no food or even water offered for a toddler with a positive flu test because they were 'waiting for CPS' ... then more hours jumping through the hoops of CPS proving that he's a well-cared for, but very active, toddler learning to walk.

HORRIBLE experience!!! If you need ANY specialized care for your child, go to Cooks in Tarrant County - I found out after our one and only ever visit that the medical professionals I work with don't ever refer to Childrens because of their negative experiences with the medical staff there too.
