I'm giving it 1 star and that's for our hotel and not for the town.
New Orleans was dirty and it smelled, anywhere we walked it smelled like garbage and we walked alot. The streets were black, I had someone tell me that it was much better before the hurricane but you know what, time has past since the hurricane and they get so much people there that spend money and that come to see New Orleans that they should get out there and power wash those streets, pick up the garbage.. There was homeless people laying on the streets and garbage all over the place. 1 homeless person literally tried to trip us when she was laying on the street., lol. As much as the food and other things cost you would think they would keep it clean. We stayed for 2 nights at the super 8, 10 minutes out of town and at the end we wished we never stopped, But it was our 1st time there and I'm the one that wanted to see it but we both said atleast we can say we've been there.
