As a truck driver I would say this is a very nice place! If you follow the directions on their PHONE message it is easy to get into. The docks are easy to get into except maybe dock 8, but still easy if they move the pick up in front of it, but there was no one here when I was here. The place is clean! I don't know if there is a possibility for overnight parking nearby. I'll check and get back to you later.

I dropped off about 600.lb off red & white & gold potato this morning! And I saw all the young people's there to volunteer is was great thing to see their .great job FOOD BANK of NC.

Our Rutgers University alumni group had a glorious time volunteering here. About 20 of us sorted and bagged apples and sweet potatoes during the morning shift. Going back next May.

Worked with great people and had a good time sorting out produce for people in need.

Made a delivery here this week. What great people. And what a very nice facility. Hope I get to go back sometime.

Took several hundred dollars of groceries and cleaning products after Hurricane Florence and was enthusiastically greeted outside so never even needed to park and make multiple trips carrying heavy boxes. Great volunteer team of folks unloaded my SUV, thanking me repeatedly, and letting me know how hurricane relief was progressing. I ve taken many carloads (Costco!) after other hurricanes and always feel such gratitude for the hardworking folks @ the Food Bank. They are a much-needed resource for our community.

It was a a shock what I was given,I really felt insulted, all that food and u would be insulted also!!!

Absolutely the best food bank I've ever been to in the United States. I have volunteered at many, used money when unemployed and helped friends in Need and disabled and terminally ill also get Services through their well-organized system. Jerome Antoine Stephanie Hillary and Marco are exceptionally kind and non-judgmental and extremely diplomatic.

Feels good to get to hear about the process and better yet to help the less fortunate.

Visited as a community service day with work and it was great. The employees and volunteers had very clear guidelines on what we were supposed to do. It was not chaos as I've seen with a lot of volunteer activities in the past.

The Food Bank makes a difference in the lives of people in my community! I have a chance to help my mom's pantry in Henderson: Holy Faith Temple CFAP Food Ministry while on break from school, and I am always amazed at the hard work she puts in! Our trips to the Food Bank always impress me. Even on the raw, rainy day after Christmas, the Food Bank and its employees were cheerful, committed, and hard at work! The work Holy Faith and the Food Bank put in translates into real help to real people in places where hunger and poverty are chronic concerns. The Food Bank is a great place to give back! Your time and donations go to help people in effective, immediate PRACTICAL ways.

Went with my company to sort sweet potatoes into bags and to pack boxes of food items for families in needs. Nice operation, well organized.

Wow! This place is awesome and doing such good work in NC! It's clean, organized, and the people I met were very helpful and informative. There are many opportunities for volunteering and even allow kids 5 and up to start helping in a volunteer capacity.

Always good to give back to the community. The Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina makes it easy. The tasks may be small but you know you are helping numerous families across the area by volunteering your time!

How very sad that a Flea Market that employed hundreds of entrepreneurs for years, was driven out by an organization that gives handouts to people who don't work. Why do people need so much free food? Because of actions just like this.

First time I've ever volunteered at the Food Bank. We packed 614 boxes today for senior citizens. Food Bank is very organized, clean and had a great experience

Not bad for delivery. Took a little while because they had a problem with dock plate but once they asked me to move to another dock they started unloading me. Spacious to maneuver

I donate here and it is very clean, people are friendly and helpful.

Don't deliver a load here. I went to check in, the guy told me to get down off the ramp and walked off. I sat there for another couple hours, and got no response. They could care less how long you sit and wait. Very rude people. Don't deliver here if you value your time.

The new facility is amazing and the staff is awesome. They make volunteering and donating super easy.
