My mother had surgery on Tuesday and although I knew she was going to be taken careful of, the staff was caring, patient and understanding. I especially want to praise the Guest Services staff members. They were professional, caring, attentive, and friendly. I have never been to a hospital where there was staff that was assigned to me when I was not the patient. They made sure I was comfortable, knew when surgery started and ended, how she was doing, when I was able to visit her, what I should expect, when the doctor wanted to talk to me privately and keeping me abreast with everything. There was a waiting room for family and friends to wait for news of their loved one. The waiting room had chairs or recliners to relax in, there were also blankets to keep you warm. In this waiting room there were private rooms for consultation with the doctor. I felt so relaxed and reassured that all was being made possible to make things easier for me.
