New Year Eve Eve ruined by bully manager!
So if you would like to be packed in and disrespected by the staff give this place a whirl. I have to say I have never had such a rude staff member treat good paying respectful people so terribly.. disappointed! Our server Annie was great and even thought we were a party of 5 sat a table for 4 we made it work. The food was just okay and nothing to write home about. You want some good cajun save your money..So after purchasing 100$ worth of tickets we had dinner and the band started. I would go to see Smiley Tillmon anywhere but here ever again. The tables are so close together literally our guest had a problem lifting his arm to eat and the man seated behind him was almost able to taste his food from his dish. So suddenly a woman walks up to the side of me in the one space where you can walk and says "you have to move your seat in this is a fire lane". I look and say "okay let me move in". Here is a problem because now the table is facing sideways and the corner is facing me because they have packed 250 people into a space made for 150. So before she grabs my chair and shoves me with the corner I move the table around and scooch in ...Okay problem solved right...Later two of our male guest go to stand for a bit while the set changes to stretch their legs when she approaches again..YELLING "YOU HAVE TO SIT DOWN WERE KEEPING THIS LANE OPEN!! THIS IS A FIRE LANE".. One of the guys is trying to just say were stretching our legs but she starts waving her hands and screaming literally in everyones face and gets way too close to me as I turn to face her almost hitting my face. Now let's just say I had to point out to her there is a way to say things nicely without waving your hands and making a huge scene. Her response was "you put your face in my hands, I talk with my hands" HA LOL are you kidding me? Im still seated and backed up as far as I can be because your behaving so poorly and with no respect for your patrons. We spent an additional 300$ on dinner so a whopping $400 dollar night just to be bullied and treated poorly. Oh and when our guest ask for her name she refused to give it..BUT THE BUSBOY WAS KIND ENOUGH AND HE SAID "OH THE MANAGER MEREDITH". MAYBE THATS TRUE BUT WHO KNOWS. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!
