My husband and I came here for dinner last Friday ...

My husband and I came here for dinner last Friday night because we both feel like quality seafood. We started off with the smoked old fashion and red dragon cocktail. They weren't bad but not memorable either. I was mildly disappointed.
We had the kong pao calamari app. The flavor was excellent. Hands down the best version of calamari we ever had. However, if I am being really picky, I thought the vermicelli was under cooked and thus some of them were raw. It affected the texture of the dish. If the vermicelli were completely cooked and crispy, the dish would be perfect.
My husband got the chilean sea bass hong kong style and I got the Texas red fish.The sea bass is delicious and pretty authentic! I wished the broth was poured over the fish instead of only on the bottom. Again, That's me being very picky. The Texas redfish is also delicious though I am not a fan of the sauce.
We ordered the crab fried rice and potatoes au gratin for our sides. Noth of them were on point. I loved the flavor of the fried rice.
Our waiter is excellent.
One of the restaurants that we would definitely come back to again.
I recommend it for special occasions and celebrations because of the price point.
