I went for a convention. was woken up in the middle of the night by hotel staff because of a noise complaint in my room. There was nobody in the room besides me sleeping. They refused to even apologize for waking me up.

A friend of mine also had his costume damaged when a security person said "Move!", and before giving him the chance to do so, pushed him to the side before continuing on.

I go to conventions frequently, and have stayed in around two dozen hotels for such events. Boston Park Plaza has by far been the worst hotel to work with, and had the least courteous staff. I sincerely hope ANE finds a half decent hotel for next year.
