It was my first & last time! I sat at the patio bar with a friend & received extremely poor customer service. When we mentioned that we also work in the culinary industry we got a bunch of excuses about Plank's corporate model, but that didn't cut it for me. As as bar tender/server, it's your responsibility to make sure your guests feel welcomed.
