I think I'm really being generous with this rating...

I think I'm really being generous with this rating. I went in around January for my period. I was having more severe than usual type of cramps, on the verge of fainting and oftentimes this gets brushed off as a light issue thrown in with the rest of the symptoms of menstruation. I honestly wanted to see what was wrong with me. I went in and it felt like the ER staff had an attitude about me coming in for my period. But I eventually did get treated and went home feeling slightly better.

The second time I was up here with my 80 year old grandfather. It turned out that he had pneumonia. Again the ER staff was chaotic and it seemed like everyone was pissed off at something. The nurse who was in charge of my grandfather's room was clueless. I called for her to come in b/c my grandfather was having trouble and I found her at the desk talking and laughing leisurely on the phone and she had this expression like she was doing us a favor. I can't remember if she was a registered nurse or practitioner, either way her attitude was unprofessional, she was rude and uncaring.

I don't care about my experience, but when it comes to my relatives, especially the elderly, that's where they cross the line. It didn't help that I knew other patients were getting better treatment than this.
