Horrible school. Just got dismissed from the MLS program for being just ONE AND A HALF percentage points off clinical passing standards. They claimed it was a critical thinking issue but I think it was largely poor communication instead.

So as someone with a learning disability, I submitted my medical records to the disability services not once, but TWICE. And Elizabeth Ashley still didn't give me disability letters for the profs regarding accommodation until a few days before spring finals. On top of that, there are NO accommodations for the clinical aspect, just classes, which I passed all woth flying colors. This is a clear violation of the ADA act. When I confronted the administration over it, they were absolutely clueless and said nothing about it. Not even a simple "sorry." There were times where the incompetence was so bad, my parents would have to join in on zoom meetings over it.

So for anyone with a learning disability who wants to go into the medical field, don't waste your time here. The administration is clueless and incompetent. You're far better off at HACC, who actually does care about students with disabilities.
