Our inaugural resort was HedonismIII in January of 2007; we were in love with it and the GM Lance Parish and the hotel manager Sonia Davis. we only stayed their 5 times prior to it closing. We learned that Kevin Levee the GM of Hedo2 was trained by Lance Parish, with that we were very optimistic that the Hedo2 would have a management staff that would align with Lance Parish; WRONG! When a fish stinks it starts at the head. The resort use the word safety very lightly and we mean very lightly. The word accountability to the guest and being accountable to the guests in our opinion does not exist. In 2014 we spent $12,000.00 for 14 nights and my beautiful bride spent 4 days out of the 14 in our room dues to a massive Asthma attack because of a guest being allowed to smoke a horrific Cuban cigar in the hot tub even though the owner Harry was in the pool at the time where their were NO SMOKING signs posted everywhere and the guest said with vulgarity that he will smoke wherever he wants. The only thing I want is ultimate safety for my bride, nothing was ever done about it and no compensation ever. So we chose not to go back however after a horrific car accident in 2017 we decided to try it again and after this past trip and leaving the resort due to unsafe glass shelf in our shower that was barely attached and could fall and smash and the night light in the header going into the shower was not working and for my beautiful bride who has a bad back due to the car accident needs a night light as sometimes she has to use a cane. We asked 7 times interdependently of each other to have them repaired and Antony on the main desk at night did nothing about it and when asked the next night why he laughed in my face and then the security guard joined in, "bully mentality". So safety is an all encompassing word which the resort in our opinion does not live up to. With all of the incidents that have transpired over the years the hotel manager Donna Grant offered us a new premium room for our stay Dec 9-23/19 (we have emails confirming this) which she did not live up to and when questioned about her word she was not happy about that and said to us "do you think that I would give YOU that room when I have another paying guest that wanted it and I said that we would never come back and Donna Grant said I never want you back and do not even want you here now. Again zero accountability for the guests. We also heard that two female guests stole a Christmas tree from another guests front door and were caught; when confronted by Donna Grant nothing was done to make the 2 females accountable so not only once was the other guest a victim but twice. Please also know that employees are not allowed to receive tips however Sarina runs a business on it so when Mr Levee was confronted he said nothing, we have even heard that all management under Donna Grant live in fear of Sarina. Please know in our opinion that the management at Hedo2 is proof that a toxic work environment does exist and again when a fish stinks it starts at the head! This is just a coles note version of the disasters we experienced in our 12 visits their. We will leave with this that we will always remember our favorite bartender Eldon
