DO NOT BUY THE WEDDING PRESERVATION KIT FROM BRICKHOUSE BRIDAL. I bought my dress from Brickhouse bridal and the experience itself was fine. However, i subsequently bought the $200+ wedding gown preservation kit that is sent to Memories Preservation in Houston and that company lost my gown and veil. Memories Preservation was a nightmare to deal with and I am highly suspicious of the events that took place and the lack of ethics by this company. I contacted Brickhouse Bridal to let them know of the events and see if they could do anything to help but got zero assistance. I had to follow up numerous times with Memories Preservation by email and phone to get an update on where my dress was in the process of being preserved to eventually be told it was misplaced and they would just issue me a claims check like it was no big deal. The claims check was for 1/3 of the price of the dress and veil, didn't cover the cost of the service and took over 6 months to receive. It wasn't until I contacted my lawyer and notified the company that I would take them to small claims court if I wasn't reimbursed for the amount agreed to, that I finally got the check. To top it off, the check was for less than what was agreed. When I asked for the remaining amount, they requested that I provide them with my credit card number and they would credit my card. Not only was I not comfortable providing my credit card to a company that lacked ethics and competence, but it is not the form in which I paid for the services to begin with!!! Out thousands of dollars and a lifetime of memories. SERIOUSLY AVOID AT ALL COSTS and find someone one else to preserve your dress. Also, below is a photo of my dress. If you have it, I would love to get it back.
